Prof. Shweta Prem Agrawal of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras has been awarded for the Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar 2025 under the Vigyan Yuva – Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar (VY-SSB) category.

Her pioneering research is in cryptography and post-quantum systems, specifically aimed at protecting sensitive information from the emerging quantum-computing era.

Congratulating the awardees, Director Prof. V. Kamakoti said:
