Manish Kumar is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras), working with Prof. John Augustine. His research primarily focuses on distributed computing and network algorithms.He recently completed his PhD at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, where he worked on Message Efficient Fault-Tolerant Distributed Computations under the guidance of Dr. Anisur Rahaman Molla. His academic journey began with a B.Tech. in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, followed by an M.Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. His current research interests include the theory and application of large-scale distributed networks, randomized algorithms, communication complexity, and security in distributed computing, with a particular focus on agreement, leader election, graph theory and mobile robot-based problems.”
