Aishwarya Thiruvengadam

Assistant Professor

Professor Aishwarya Thiruvengadam is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at IIT Madras, specializing in cryptography and theoretical computer science. Her recent research has primarily focused on the provable security of symmetric-key cryptography.
Professor Aishwarya Thiruvengadam was a postdoctoral scholar at the Department of Computer Science, TU Darmstadt, where she worked with Prof. Marc Fischlin as part of the Cryptoplexity group. she also held a postdoctoral position at the University of California, Santa Barbara, collaborating with Prof. Stefano Tessaro. Prof. Aishwarya earned his PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park, under the guidance of Prof. Jonathan Katz and Prof. Dana Dachman-Soled.
