The IDBI IITM Secure Systems Lab at IIT Madras focuses on three key verticals: cryptography, distributed ledger technology, and secure systems engineering. The lab aims to address security challenges from a holistic, end-to-end perspective, covering both theoretical and practical solutions. It provides a platform for research students, and fosters cybersecurity thinking in undergraduates through programs, hackathons, and Capture the Flag (CTF) events. With increasing cyber-attacks, like hardware Trojans and reverse engineering, on critical sectors like banking, finance, and healthcare, this lab will contribute to developing state-of-the-art secure systems and  preparing the next generation of experts to tackle the increasing threats to IoT, cloud computing, and financial systems.
